Nope....I hate acronyms. Yep, I sure do hate 'em!
Knitty SP5 started this week! I'm so EXTRA SUPER DUPER EXCITED! I've been having tons of fun hunting down neat little gifts and cards and cool stuff for my downstream SP. :-D I've got about 4 little projects planned for her as well as some spin-off project ideas for RAKs and holiday gifts and fun designs to add to my design "portfolio". (I'm calling it a portfolio cuz I don't know what else to call it. It's not really all that formal....not really a portfolio....it's not like I'm an aspiring desiger. More like an obsessed knitaholic. ;-) ). My upstream SP seems to be blog-stalking me (not that I mind!) and I'm sure that I'll have fun with this.
I managed to locate the almost-done basketweave scarf for A last night, as well. Just as soon as I can find the half-ball of Montera I stuck safely in a bag somewhere, it will get it's final 6" and I'll be done. The gauge is a bit drapey and after end-weaving, I think blocking won't be necessary. I threw a bunch of happy little RAK's in the mail to various Knittyheads yesterday and the day before, too. It's so much fun sending treats and goodies to other knitters! Especially since most of them seem so appreciative and happy to receive them.
